Her career spans a period of nearly 18 years. Discovered as a model in a shopping mall in South Africa at a time when models were all supermodels, Amanda de Waal won the "Model of the Year" competition and went on to work in all the major fashion capitals of the world, including Paris, Italy, London, and New York, where she shared runways with the likes of Linda Evangelista, Cristy Turlington, Naomi Campbell, and Claudia Schiffer. In 1994 she returned to South Africa to launch the international agency, Select Models, as well as to start her TV career starring in "Glass Castles". During this period Amanda presented her own travel show for television, did countless talk shows, and began working for various worthwhile charities. In 1999 she left South Africa for Athens, where she is now permanently based and works as a model and photographer, gives wild dinner parties for her friends, quotes Emerson when needed, and works to make the world a better place with her Greek goddess type beauty.

Sachiko McLean acts as though she lives in a world where she is free to be nude, whenever, and wherever she wants. Indeed, because of her multiple talents and enthusiastic exhibitionism, she creates that world for herself. "I believe that sex can be a very powerful weapon, and I want to use it to positively influence people, instead of the negative way it is normally used by religion, government and big business.

Sign the petition to save Iranian girl from hanging for killing rapist

On January 3, 2006, 17-year-old Nazanin was sentenced to death for murder by a court in Iran after she reportedly admitted fatally stabbing one of three men who attempted to rape her and her 16-year-old niece in a park in March 2005. Hatred of women and their beauty is out of control in Iran, as this case so clearly demonstrates. Instead of defending beautiful young women against rapists, the government of Iran has stepped in to kill the girls and thus finish the job the rapists started. Sign the petition to save Nazanin before it's too late.

Diosa exudes beauty, in her art, her body, and her spirit. Her paintings strike you with a rare blend of colour and morality, line, and spirit. She and they are lovely messengers of sexuality, freedom, female empowerment, and spiritual wisdom. We are grateful to her for supporting our cause of validating female beauty, and proud to feature her this month on SuperBeauty.Org.

Aussie beauty poses nude for the right to pose nude

<imageurl>http://www.superbeauty.org/bessie_feature_thumb.jpg</imageurl>

Getting naked seems to be the favourite modern method of attracting public attention to injustice these days. Indian women have used their nude bodies to protest violence against women. Argentine women have stripped in public to protest war. But imagine if women had no right to make a statement this way. Now Bessie Bardot, Australia's world-famous beauty activist, has joined the trend by posing nude for SuperBeauty.Org, in a determined bid to make sure women never lose that right.
